Danelia's achievements and dedication have not gone unnoticed. She was appointed by the Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu to the Oahu Workforce Development Board; she is the first woman in the State of Hawai’i to complete the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative National Program; and was selected by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration) to become a certified MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) Instructor based on her position, education, previous training experience, knowledge of behavioral health and capacity to train and educate others. Newman Consulting Services has been recognized by SAMHSA for doing great work in the community.

Danelia served 2 years as President of Ohana Services Network (OSN), a non-profit organization providing recovery and restorative services for people in recovery in Hawai’i. She has worked tirelessly to identify State Health Department issues of importance to the less fortune people in Hawai’i; then took action to deal with those issues.
Danelia also hosted a weekly show entitled, “Keys to Success” on ThinkTech Hawai’i, a digital media non-profit focused on raising public awareness about the importance of tech, energy, diversification, globalism and progress in the State of Hawai’i. Danelia has a strong commitment to making Hawai’i a better place through her hands-on approach to community service.
The best reflection of Danelia's skills lies in her business outcomes. She has worked with many businesses to improve their bottom line. Much of this is due to the extensive time and preparation she puts into their learning experiences and professional application procedures.
